It’s unofficial weekly weigh in time (not the official scales we’re using for the bet). Starting weight was 262.4 (on the official scale) and last week I dropped to 251.5. This week the scale is showing 245 lbs even (my old scale only weighs in half pound increments). Total weight lost thus far, 17.4 lbs.
While week one was a bigger number than I expected, possibly due to my inept scales, the 6.5 lbs lost during week two is not surprising. It’s amazing what three days in bed with the flu and no appetite can do for your weight loss goals. Going forward I would be surprised if I lost more than 2-4 lbs a week, but fingers crossed, eyes on the goal and all that jazz.
